ADDING A PHOTO TO YOUR BIO:
This tutorial pertains to users
of Internet Explorer.
This is actually a very easy thing
to do once you get the hang of it, and
can be done in just a few seconds.
The pictures you want to use should be online before you get started.
We'll start with a sample photo.
Before
you try to find the path (url) to your image, make sure you are viewing
the full sized image, and not a thumbnail (small version). Your image
must be online
somewhere, or nobody will be able to see it but you.
We will find the path (url) of
this image. First, right-click on the image and you
should see the context menu. Choose properties.
You should see this:

After selecting properties, you
should see the properties page like this:

Now, highlight the entire contents
of the Address (URL) field. Sometimes
part of it is hidden because it is too long to show in two lines. Be sure
to
highlight the whole thing.

Now, hit Control-C. This
will copy your path (url) to the clipboard. It will
appear that nothing has happened, but it should now be in your
computer's memory.
Now, to use this path (url) in
the bio creator, put your cursor in the
image path entry box and hit Control-V. It should be pasted like this:

OK, that's it. Go up to the sample image
at the top at try it for yourself.
If you are manually editing your bio,
you need to put the url into an image tag like this:
<img src="...................">
and the path goes in place of the dots like this:
<img src="http://somewebsite.com/image3.jpg">
If you have tried this, but it still
does not work, you can test your url by pasting it into the url
of a new browser window. The picture should show up in the browser with
nothing else on the
page. If this works, you've got the right url, and the problem is coming
from somewhere else.
